Whether it’s a cosy celebration, a sun-drenched garden party, or a laid-back gathering with friends,
our charming country pub — complete with a gorgeous terrace and lush green lawn — is the perfect
setting. Set in a picture-perfect village, we’re here to make your special moments unforgettable. From
birthdays and anniversaries to casual get-togethers and bespoke events, we’ve got you covered.

The world’s your oyster: big events for up to 200 people or more intimate affairs in a corner of our pub, we can help you plan away.

Monday and Tuesday private hire/exclusive use. Yes – that’s the whole pub to yourselves. No hire charge. Minimum spend starting from
£1,500. Enjoy exclusive use of our bar, dining space, terrace, and garden, perfect for weddings, parties, or private events with extra charm (and you have it all to yourself)

N.B. We are open Bank Holiday Mondays, so sadly no exclusive hire on bank holidays, but all other Mondays are absolutely fine.

From Wednesday to Sunday our dining room is available for event bookings, whether it’s a small table on a Sunday or you are looking for a large private party. Seating up to 67 on separate tables across the whole pub, 35 in the dining room side or 36 in the marquee. Standing we can host up to 60 in our marquee and a lot more in the pub! The pub is available for exclusive hire, or a smaller bookings.

VILLAGE WEDDING 

There’s something timeless about a village wedding (maybe slightly biased as Jack & Millie had a Denham village wedding). Say “I do” at the local church, just a short stroll from the pub. Then it’s back to the pub — pints in hand and smiles all around. Followed by a feast of seasonal food, flowing drinks, and laughter-filled speeches carries the party into the evening. As the sun sets, the dance floor comes alive.

We offer three different packages: THE CYGNET  (Intimate Wedding Celebrations), THE SWAN (Exclusive Use of the Whole Pub) and WISTERIA (Exclusive Garden Marquee Weddings)

THE ROUND TABLE

Our private dining room, The Round Table, can seat up to 8 people. Available for bookings throughout the week, it’s the perfect setting, whether it be for a special occasion, or just a gathering with friends and family.

More than happy for you to bring your own cake for celebrations however, please let us know who the birthday person is – it always gets a little awkward if we don’t know what name to sing! We ask that you don’t bring any cakes that contain nuts….we have team members and may well have fellow customers in that day that have nut allergies. Please note: we charge “cake-age” of £2.50 per person sitting at the table – we still have to sing (bands charge a lot more!) and do the washing up as well as often scrapping cake off the table and carpet!

Weddings & Engagement Parties

Our intimate countryside wedding venue in the heart of Denham Village provides a beautiful scenic backdrop for your special day. With a large garden, marquee, tailored catering and full use of inside the pub, we work closely with the bride and groom to create the perfect day. Our little slice of countryside heaven is just outside of London with excellent transport links for your guests.

Baby Showers/Gender Reveals

With the option of full venue hire, or only using our large marquee area, we provide cosy baby showers, afternoon teas and outdoor space for however you are looking to celebrate your gender reveal. We’re just off the M25 and M40 making it easy for everyone to celebrate with you.

Wakes

Our quiet pub and garden can be utilised for wakes throughout the year. We offer buffet catering and work with the family to provide a respectful wake. We can also work with you to decorate the venue with memories of your loved one, to celebrate their life.

Corporate Events/Parties

If you’re looking to organise a corporate event near London, we offer corporate full or part venue hire depending on the occasion. With three local tube lines, the overground and the M25 and M40 within a 5 minute drive, we’re an excellent option for companies in and around London who want a change of scenery and a venue all to themselves. We will work with you to organise food, whether set menus or buffet, as well as entertainment options. We host anything from quarterly catch ups to Christmas parties.

Business Lunch/Dinner

If you’re looking for somewhere to host a business lunch or dinner for your team or your valuable clients, we can provide you with a scenic, laid back, professional atmosphere with excellent city transport links. We have private dining options as well as different options for full and part venue hire. Let us know any special requirements and we’ll work with you to make sure hosting is easy for you.
