Join us for an evening of Live Music & Dinner | 23rd February 2018
Back by popular demand, the wonderful Nadie Keating is returning to the village this February to treat us with her wonderful vocals and musical talent. The perfect accompaniment to dinner at The Swan.
Born to musician parents, Keating has a rich musical background and wealth of experience. In her original band “Delicious” by the age of 19, for which she received modest interest from a record label, Nadie has made it her life’s work and mission to improve on her voice and performance. She has mastered her art through intensive vocal coaching, giggling and touring most of the world.
During her career, Nadie has had the pleasure of working with and supporting established artists such as Catatonia, Jesus and Mary Chain, Liberty X, Kym Marsh, Level 42, David Essex, Jim Davidson, Mike Reid, Frank Carson, Steve Overland (FM), Lyndsey De Paul, The Honeycombs, The Fortunes, Brotherhood of Man & Medicine Hat. She has worked with renowned function bands all over the UK, Europe, USA and the Far East.
In 2004, Nadie was signed to Halo Records UK and began extensively writing her first solo album with producer/co-writer Jo Webb (Rick Parfitt Jr, James Morrison, Annie Lennox, The Noisettes) called The McNaughton Rule. She released her first single in 2005. “Like I Used to”, received great press from the Sun, The Times, the Guardian & The Irish Post. Nadie followed that success with the second single from the album ‘ Indifference’ and performed in prestigious venues such as Dingwalls, Cafe De Paris and The VW Bug Jam festival. Nadie was lucky enough to perform her songs with just her voice and an acoustic guitar in Australia, New Zealand and Fiji in 2010 during a mini solo tour.
Nadie is currently working on her follow up album. She is busy writing and producing her own songs with various collaborators.
After joining us last summer for our “Sunday Sounds” events, we are very much looking forward to welcoming Nadie back to the Swan for our evening of live music. In honour of the occasion, we have rustled up a delicious set menu at only 29.50 per guest.
